As with most books, it really depends on the level and subject interest of the reader. There's some boy/girl crushes between a couple characters and some violence but none of the monsters are too scary, so as long as the vocab is appropriate I'd recommend them!lisa :)https://www.blogger.com/profile/11429572773434109490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-285552714359981402.post-20777610685053002492011-10-14T15:57:02.572-05:002011-10-14T15:57:02.572-05:00Lisa, do you think these books are suitable for 9-...Lisa, do you think these books are suitable for 9-10 year olds? Part of me dies inside when I read a book without a solid ending, but I also find I can appreciate a story arc more when I space out the books involved.

And the book is very much typical Rick Riordan (and that's a compliment!) If you like his stuff, you'll enjoy this one.lisa :)https://www.blogger.com/profile/11429572773434109490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-285552714359981402.post-36589309230696318332011-10-13T22:12:56.475-05:002011-10-13T22:12:56.475-05:00"the worst part about this book will be waiti..."the worst part about this book will be waiting for what comes next" - It's that good, eh? That's exactly how I feel when I love a book in a series and have to face a whole 'nother year, sometimes more, for the next one!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
